СУБНОР СРБИЈЕ
(1948 - 2008)
Оснивачки конгрес Савеза бораца
Народноослободилачког рата Србије одржан је у Београду, 9. маја
1948. године. Оснивачки конгрес је означио завршетак
организовања бораца НОР - а у Србији и одредио њихове задатке у
мирнодопским условима: очување тековина борбе за ослобођење
земље, учешће у обнови и изградљи земље, заштита инвалида и
породица погинулих, сарадња са сродним организацијама у
иностранству.
Године 1948. СУБНОР је имао 260.000 чланова, а данас чланство
чини 133.427 бораца НОР - а, ратних војних инвалида, потомака,
младих бораца, поштовалаца, мирнодопских ратних инвалида,
резервних војних старешина, активних официра и припадника МУП -
а.
Четврти конгрес Савеза бораца НОР - а Југославије (Београд, 29.
јуни - 1. jул 1961. године) донео је одлуку о удруживању три до
тада самосталне организације:
Савеза бораца НОР - а Југославије, Савеза ратних војних инвалида
и Удружења резервних официра и подофицира у јединствену
организацију. Од тада, организација бораца НОР - а Србије носи
име СУБНОР Србије које је задржала до данас.
У току шездесет година плодног рада СУБНОР је био иницијатор
подизања споменика, организовања изложби, покретања књижевно -
публицистичких конгреса, издавања књига са историјском и
књижевном тематиком итд. На конкурсу „Драгојло Дудић“ награђено
је и похваљено преко 300 књига најразноврсније тематике.
СУБНОР је члан Светске федерације бивших бораца (РМАС),
Међународне организације покрета отпора (Р1В) и сарађује са
оргамизацијама ратних ветерана у четрдесетак земаља.
Ове године СУБНОР ће одржати свечане академије, посебно у већим
градовима, уз учешће бораца и грађана, пријатеља и симпатизера
НОБ - а.

SUBNOR
OF SERBIA

The founding congress of the Union
of War Veterans of the National Liberation War of Serbia was
held in Belgrade, on May 9th, 1948. This meeting demarked the
end of organizing of National Liberation War soldiers in Serbia
and defined their mission in peacetime: preservation of war
heritage for the liberation of the country, participation in the
reconstruction, protection of disabled veterans and families of
killed soldiers, cooperation with related foreign organizations.
In the year 1948, SUBNOR had 260.000 members. Nowadays, this
organization gath¬ers 133.427 soldiers of the National
Liberation War, disabled veterans, descendants, young soldiers,
followers, peacetime disabled veterans, reserve and active
officers and policemen.
During the fourth congress of the War Veterans Union of the
National Liberation War of Yugoslavia (Belgrade, June 29th -
July the first, 1961) a decision was made about the uniting of
three, until that time, independent organizations: Union of War
Veterans of the National Liberation of Yugoslavia, Union of
Disabled Veterans and Association of reserve and noncommissioned
officers, into one unique organization. Since then, the War
Veterans Union of Serbia was known under the name of SUBNOR of
Serbia. During 60 years of fruitful work, SUBNOR has been
organizing expositions, literary-journalistic congresses,
erecting of monuments, issuing of historical and literary works
etc. More than 300 books on various subjects were awarded and
praised at "Dragojlo Dudic" contest.
SUBNOR is a member of the World Federation of Veterans (FMAC),
and the International Federation of Resistance Movements (FIR).
It has been collaborating with War Veterans Organizations in
more than 40 countries.
This year, SUBNOR was hold, especially in bigger cities, solemn
academies with the participation of veterans, citizens, friends
and sympathizers of the National Liberation War. The main office
of the SUBNOR of Serbia is located in Belgrade, 9/IV Savski trg
Street.
